Welcome to WWWJDIC, the online dictionary service based on the JMdict-EDICT Dictionary Project and the KANJIDIC Project, plus a range of other Japanese dictionaries.

WWWJDIC began operating in the mid-1990s at Monash University in Australia, and was one of the first WWW-based online Japanese dictionaries. It is available on several sites around the world (Full List). Unfortunately the Monash site is no longer available.
